Description

To commemorate the fifth anniversary of the passing of our beloved former Board Chair, the world-famous operatic bass Joseph Rouleau, join us for a night of the most beloved opera excerpts by composers such as Mozart, Verdi, Puccini, Wagner, Bizet, Delibes and Offenbach. It will be a passionate evening of opera hits you won’t want to miss.

A quartet of Canada’s star opera singers will be accompanied by the OCM in full symphonic form. This final concert of the 84th Season marks Jacques Lacombe’s culmination of his first season as OCM’s Artistic Director.

We are also thrilled to welcome award winning young Innu soprano, Elisabeth St-Gelais and pianiste Louise Pelletier in a pre-concert recital at 6:30pm in the lobby of the Maison Symphonique, thanks to the Jeunesses Musicales Canada and their collaboration on this initiative. This recital, at 6:30pm, will present French mélodies by Bizet, Duparc and Poulenc.

Tickets are now on sale at the Place des Arts box office
