In a concert as unique and distinctive as the man himself, the OCM pays tribute to its beloved Artistic Director, Boris Brott, in an evening of works illustrating significant moments of his life.
Hosted by Sylvia L’Écuyer, the concert features the evocative Kol Nidre by Bruch, Manuel Ponce’s guitar concerto Concierto del Sur, and the most famous excerpts from the masterpiece West Side Story.
The OCM performs an excerpt of Alexander Brott’s Astral Visions, and the concert features four songs arranged for string orchestra from Tomson Highway’s musical The (Post) Mistress which maestro Boris recorded in 2021 for Radio Canada.
