Description
Passion for the music, passion for the tango: the ghost of María cannot be repressed in this dramatic concert-version of the surreal, three-character tango operita performed in Spanish with surtitles in French and English.
This rarely produced operatic homage to the urban underworld that produced the tango, by the famous Argentinian composer Astor Piazzolla, features the expressive voice and emotions of mezzo-soprano Julie Nesrallah and the suavity of baritone Clarence Frazer.
