THE FIRE & ICE GALA
A Pre-Concert Cocktail-Dînatoire Benefit
for the Orchestre classique de Montréal
GALA PRESENTER:
The Orchestre classique de Montréal’s 2023 benefit gala will take place on Tuesday June 20, 2023 at 5:30 p.m. in the Antonia-Nantel Lobby of the Maison symphonique. Join us for libations and gourmet hors d’œurves prepared by Olive Orange Catering as we celebrate the exciting finale of our 83rd Season.
This cocktail-dînatoire will be followed by the concert Fire & Ice which includes the world premiere of the Ice Storm Symphony by Maxime Goulet to commemorate 25th anniversary since the North American Ice Storm of 1998 as well as Carl Orff’s fiery cantata based on medieval poems of satire, corporeal pleasure, and the vicissitudes of luck: the monumental Carmina Burana.
Proceeds from the event go to the OCM’s endowment fund. This fund ensures the longevity of our orchestra that is renowned for its wonderfully eclectic programming and strong community engagement. Your support will help the OCM and its new Artistic Director Jacques Lacombe uphold the work and legacy of Alexander, Lotte, and Boris Brott for generations to come.
